I realize the actor does like a 180 in shot two to three I will fill in the gap.
The actor I used in this footage is not the real actor. The actor playing the part is 53 years old and will be dressed in a suit. I wanted to see how the camera and post software would react to light. Immediately I'm running into problems! I'm getting alot of funky discoloring on edges. The lens I have for this camera is really sucking. Its ability to accept light and focus is underpar(note 7d users).I get a good variety of options(18mm-150?) but the lens is just cheap. I will focus on an area (digitally) lock it then check the footage and out of focus. Sometimes it works sometimes not. I would really like a 15mm prime super fast lens to get a real crisp image in the low light but gotta use what I got. Either that or more light.I'm not sure how the library gonna feel if i truck in a old fifties stage ellipsoid spot light! Here's where the fun begins! I do like the lighting of the location Just have to experiment. I'll probably have to lighten everything up let more light in then drop the light in post production. The second shot is framed up nice to me and the stairs has alot more light coming in so I've got more flexibility for image control.

I want to show the character in a "well to do" sort of atmosphere (his job). That will contrast later in the movie when he is stuck on a trashy old school bus.
Things are moving pretty good now, I finished this panel and that leads the main character into the parking garage. I think parking garages are overused in amateur films but in this case its where he parks his car downtown, so I guess it's ok. There are about six more locations, The bus, the intersection, the trash compactor, the duck pond, the bridge, and one I'm not sure of yet. The bus and library are the toughest. And the intersection will be tricky with traffic.
I'm changing the outside of the building to the library building due to the staircase and other issues with continuity. So I will have to change the first shots a bit. I have gotten the contact number for the lady in charge of this location, so hopefully I can get it! I'll probably need about 7 hours.

Photo Storyboard

Two images here I borrowed from other photographers but I will soon replace them with originals.
The other photos were taken in front of the motorists building and in the library. The library is going to be the inside of the insurance building. I haven't put the characters in the shots yet
(via Illustrator) but am working on it. I'm pretty happy with the look of the photography, except
for the yellow clean up cart in the one.
